Boon and Cowan to fill roles after Cricket Australia boss resigns in fallout of BBL sale

Former NSW premier Mike Baird lost the support of the state’s cricket body because of his decision to push ahead with the sale of clubs in the Big Bash League. His departure will mean former Test stalwart David Boon is elevated into the role of interim chair and paces the way for Ed Cowan to become the NSW rep.
